ACA Pacific Unveils ServLink Program to Trend Micro Customers

New service offering delivers significant business benefits


MALAYSIA, September 17, 2009 – ACA Pacific Technology (M) Sdn Bhd (ACA Pacific), the leader in IT marketing and value added distribution, today announced the immediate availability of ServLink Program to provide Trend Micro Malaysia Sdn Bhd’s (Trend Micro) customers with timely and effective technical assessment and health check, thus ensuring regulatory compliance and business continuity while reducing administrative costs.


“ServLink is ACA Pacific’s preventive maintenance program created explicitly for Trend Micro customers. Under this initiative, we are sending our certified Trend Micro security engineer to perform on site technical assessment and provide recommendation to customers where necessary,” said Jimmy Low, ACA Pacific’s Technical Manager for Security and Networking


ACA Pacific is the authorized distributor for Trend Micro products in Malaysia and Singapore as well as authorized training centre for Trend Micro Certified Security Engineer (TCSE) training and certification course covering Malaysia and Singapore.


ACA Pacific’s ServLink Program offers the following to all eligible Trend Micro customers:

  • Complimentary basic preventive maintenance service which includes technical assessment and health check to customers on a bi-annual basis.  Advance maintenance service is chargeable and is available upon request.
  • Provide software updates such as service packs or hot fixes for all Trend Micro installed software licenses.  Should the service cannot be rendered on the spot, advice shall be given via phone or email to customers on how to perform the updates themselves.
  • Certified engineer to perform Trend Micro software configuration check against industry best practices and provide on-site expert advice and recommendation to Trend Micro customers where applicable.
  • A service report will be provided to customers upon completion of services.


“ServLink is essentially a program for retaining customers and this is how ACA Pacific differentiates itself by providing value added services to both customers and principal vendors,” concluded Low.
