ISEC Malaysia Selects TalariaX’s SendQuick Entera

Leading eye centre improves customer communications at lower cost with SendQuick Entera



KUALA LUMPUR, 15 April 2010 – TalariaX Pte Ltd (‘TalariaX’), leading developer of SMS products and wireless applications, today announced the customer win of International Specialist Eye Centre Malaysia (‘ISEC Malaysia’) through its exclusive distributor ACA Pacific Technology (M) Sdn Bhd (‘ACA Pacific’).  ISEC Malaysia, a leading eye centre providing world class facility in eye care that is affordable to the local and regional community, selected SendQuick Entera solution to manage and improve communications with its growing number of customers while preserving confidentiality of patient information.

SendQuick Entera is an appliance based SMS solution that is designed to fit ISEC Malaysia’s business environment.  The fully automated system sends SMS reminders to patients four days before their appointments by retrieving data such as patient name, mobile number and appointment date/time through an ODBC database connected to ISEC Malaysia’s Patient Information System.

“Managing patient appointments and reminders is so much easier with SendQuick Entera.  The fully automated system frees up our resources for other areas which translates to lower total costs.  Patient satisfaction has also improved as patients like such sms-reminder service,” said Dr Wong Jun Shyan, Medical Director at ISEC Malaysia after evaluating other options such as installing vendor software, sending sms via data transfer to Telco operators and SendQuick SMS appliance. 

Vincent Choy, Business Manager at ACA Pacific says that installing vendor software runs the risk of conflicts to existing system and may require extensive manpower for troubleshooting and maintenance while sending data to Telcos presents a security breach which may compromise patient information. “SendQuick Entera can be configured and installed in just a few minutes, allowing one to save precious time and money.  With SendQuick Entera, the data never leaves ISEC Malaysia and information confidentiality is maintained,” said Choy.

“There is improvement in patient attendance and a more efficient scheduling of appointments with the reduction of no-shows after the deployment of SendQuick Entera.  Overall efficiency is enhanced as staff members need not spend time to repeatedly call patients if they are unreachable.” added Dr Wong.
